The Schedule Is Up!

wexworlds logo10 days to go and our official schedule is up for viewing! There may still be some last minute additions, but we wanted you guys to have an idea what we’ve been working so hard to put together!

And did we mention it’s free? Well, almost all free. The final event on Saturday night will have a €5 entry fee, but all proceeds will go towards keeping next year free as well. Everything else for the weekend will be free entry.

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t bring your wallet, because we’ve got a great line up of vendors this year: everything from books to comics to figurines to hats and scarves!

So come on out to see us! Doors will open at 11 am!

23 Days!

wexworlds logoJust 23 days to go until WexWorlds 2016! There is going to be a lot of information coming your way as we solidify our plans for the weekend.

Want a sneak peak?

Over on our Guest page, you’ll see we have the return of Ben Hennessy, whose artwork you can view here, as well as a new arrival, horror podcast author Mike Bennett!

We also have vendors signing up to sell their wares! We have Ed’s Comic Hut coming down from Enniscorthy, Reader’s Paradise from here in Town, as well as multiple crafters selling their handmade creations!

Confirmed for Saturday night will be an original one-act Star Trek Universe play written and directed by one of Wexford’s own.

And on Sunday, you ask?

Sunday will be a host of gaming! We’ll have consoles, board games, and card games. There will be Warhammer workshops and Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic tournaments for card gaming, retro and recent gaming consoles, and more board games than you knew existed. One hasn’t even been released yet, so come and learn to play from the creators!

Alongside all of this, we will be showing various movies and episodes in our Cantina Cinema, so if you want to take a break, grab yourself a snack and kick back to enjoy some of our favorites!
